Vegan Strawberry Frosting

This vegan strawberry frosting is the perfect way to top off a vegan cupcake or cake. It’s light and fluffy, sweet and tangy, and it’s a beautiful pink color. It’s easy to make and requires just a few simple ingredients. The vegan butter, vegan cream cheese, and strawberry puree come together to create a creamy, delicious frosting that will make your vegan desserts look and taste amazing.


  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
  • 4 ounces vegan cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry puree*

*You can make your own strawberry puree by blending fresh or frozen strawberries in a food processor or blender until smooth.


To begin, cream together the vegan butter and vegan cream cheese in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture until it’s light and fluffy.

Next, add in the powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Once all of the powdered sugar has been added, beat in the vanilla extract.

Finally, add in the strawberry puree and mix until it’s evenly distributed throughout the frosting.

At this point, your vegan strawberry frosting is ready to use. It can be used to top cupcakes, cakes, or other vegan desserts. It can also be piped onto cupcakes for a more decorative look. Enjoy!
