Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup vegan kimchi
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon gluten-free tamari
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegan butter
Preparation
Begin by cooking the brown rice according to the instructions on the package. Once the rice is cooked, let it cool.
In a medium bowl, mix together the kimchi, green onions, sesame oil, agave nectar, tamari, sea salt, and black pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the vegan butter and let it melt. Then add the kimchi mixture to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cooked brown rice to the pan and stir to combine. Continue to sauté for another 4-5 minutes until the rice is heated through and lightly browned.
