  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup vegan kimchi
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free tamari
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter

Begin by cooking the brown rice according to the instructions on the package. Once the rice is cooked, let it cool.

In a medium bowl, mix together the kimchi, green onions, sesame oil, agave nectar, tamari, sea salt, and black pepper.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the vegan butter and let it melt. Then add the kimchi mixture to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the cooked brown rice to the pan and stir to combine. Continue to sauté for another 4-5 minutes until the rice is heated through and lightly browned.

Serve the vegan kimchi fried rice with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds and extra green onion, if desired. Enjoy!
