Vegetarian Black Bean and Quinoa Burgers


Vegetarian Black Bean and Quinoa Burgers are a delicious and nutritious way to prepare a tasty and satisfying meal.   • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


In a small bowl, mash the black beans with a fork. In a large bowl, combine the mashed black beans, quinoa, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, mustard, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.

Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly spray with cooking spray. Gently place the patties in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

Once cooked through, remove from the skillet and serve on a bun with your favorite toppings, or on their own as an entrée. Enjoy!
