Strawberry Puree – A Delicious Vegan Dessert

Strawberry puree is a delicious vegan dessert that is easy to make and sure to please. It is a great alternative to traditional desserts and can be served as a dessert, snack, or even breakfast. The sweet and tart flavor of strawberries pairs perfectly with a variety of ingredients, making it easy to customize to your own tastes. Plus, it requires no baking and is a great way to use up extra strawberries in your fridge.


  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt


To begin, rinse the strawberries and remove the stems. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and place them into a medium-sized bowl. Add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and sea salt. Stir the ingredients together until they are well-combined.

Next, transfer the mixture into a food processor or blender. Blend the ingredients on high for 1-2 minutes until they are fully combined and smooth. If the puree is too thick, add a few tablespoons of almond milk to thin it out.

Once the puree is the desired consistency, transfer it to a bowl or container. Cover the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

To serve, spoon the strawberry puree into individual bowls or glasses. You can top the puree with additional fresh strawberries, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a dollop of vegan whipped cream. Enjoy!
