Raspberry Sorbet Recipe
Raspberry sorbet is a refreshing and delicious dessert that’s perfect for hot summer days. Made with only a few simple ingredients, it’s easy to make and even easier to enjoy. The recipe is vegan-friendly and requires no eggs or dairy. All you need is a handful of fresh raspberries, some sugar, and a little bit of lemon juice. The result is a light and creamy sorbet that’s tart and sweet all at once.
- 1 cup of fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of water
Start by washing the raspberries and patting them dry with a paper towel. Place the raspberries in a blender and puree until smooth.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, lemon juice, salt, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Once the sugar mixture has cooled, add it to the raspberry puree and mix until combined. Transfer the raspberry puree to a shallow dish and place in the freezer. Let the sorbet freeze for at least four hours, or until it reaches your desired consistency.
When the sorbet is frozen, remove it from the freezer and scoop into individual servings. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
