- 1 lb. pizza dough
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Place the dough on a greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and garlic and sauté until the mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the oregano, salt, and pepper and remove from heat.
Spread the mushroom mixture over the pizza dough, then top with the tomato slices. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve the pizza warm and enjoy!
