Fierce Salted Caramel Cheesecake – A Vegetarian Recipe

This Fierce Salted Caramel Cheesecake is a delicious, creamy, and decadent vegan and vegetarian dessert. Its sweet and salty flavor combination is sure to delight everyone at the dinner table. The creamy cheesecake is layered with a crunchy vegan graham cracker crust and topped with a rich, gooey salted caramel sauce.   • 1/2 cup vegan graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter
  • 1 package (8 ounces) vegan cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup vegan sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup vegan caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt


Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with vegan butter.

In a medium bowl, combine the crushed vegan graham crackers and vegan butter. Mix until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat together the vegan cream cheese, vegan sugar, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, and salt until smooth. Add the canned coconut milk and mix until fully incorporated. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust and bake for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the vegan caramel sauce over low heat until melted. Remove from heat and set aside.

Once the cheesecake has finished baking, remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Pour the melted caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
